Derby Railway Angling Club was originally formed in
1895 for employees of the then Midland Railway. As
the railway industry has changed over the past 100
years, so has our Club as we strive to meet the
requirements of our members old and new. Our
objective, “to encourage the healthy art of angling
and to acquire, develop and protect waters for
angling purposes” is as relevant today as it was
over 100 years ago.
We offer a wide range angling facilities to suit all tastes including course fisheries on small still-waters, canals and rivers to fly-fishing on rivers and streams in Derbyshire.
The Derby Railway Angling Club is a group member of the Trent District Anglers Consultative Association and a member of the Anglers Conservation Association (ACA).
The Club also offers match facilities on the River Trent and the Trent & Mersey Canal (please see Match Booking Application Form)
