Sutton Brook
Pasted Graphic

The Club has approximately one and a half miles of fishing downstream of Sutton-on-the-Hill village. A brown trout fishery located in quiet rural countryside, the brook has a firm gravel base with a number of deep pools, rifles a weir and overhanging alder cover. There is a healthy invertebrate population and the water supports a good mayfly and olive hatch.

Short (7’) through actioned rods in the AFTM #3 / #4 range are suitable here.

The nature and size of the fishery demands that fishing is restricted to 6 members per day by prior booking.
